House of Subtle is a queer housing space nestled in the city of Lancaster, Pennsylvania which was renovated, designed, and established in October 2022 by Lancaster native Ryan Gabriel Davis.
This project was made possible through generous donations of over $35,000 from both local and national community.

Subtle is a queer friendly space created for LGBTQ+ individuals interested in communal, affirmative, and exclusive living in Lancaster City. Subtle provides an open format, intentional designs, and fully furnished common areas. With high ceilings, splashes of bold colors next to exposed brick walls, and mid-century touches; this space is created for you to feel open and comfortable to be yourself. We begin our leases with six month terms.
